Come join the District 17 committee and learn more about what the District is doing to carry the message within your community.

The District 17 committees could use your help. There are many forms of service available for all those interested in carrying the message to the still suffering alcoholic. Who knows you might just change someone’s life!

Come join the Alcoholics Anonymous group Sharing How it Works on the last Sunday of each month at 11:00 AM for their potluck and speaker meeting. Pizza is provided and your welcome to, but not required to, bring a dish of your own. Food!!, Fun!!, and Fellowship for all!!

Pacific Regional Alcoholics Anonymous Service Assembly

Tucson, Arizona

March 6-8, 2020

The Pacific Region Alcoholics Anonymous Service Assembly is an annual assembly hosted by one of the 15 areas in the Pacific Region of Alcoholics Anonymous each year and it therefore moves around the region.

The purpose of PRAASA is to:

  • Develop greater unity among the members, groups, and areas of the Pacific Region.
  • Encourage the exchange of ideas and experiences.
  • Provide an opportunity for members to discuss pertinent aspects of Alcoholics Anonymous.
  • The Assembly and the PRAASA Committee should always foster the Recovery, Unity and Service legacies of Alcoholics Anonymous.

Come join over 1000 excited AA members from all over the Pacific Region and be part of this unforgettable event.

The entire weekend is packed with panels, round table discussions, presentations, open mike sharing, speakers, wonderful meals and ongoing fellowship.

Come join the Area 42 for the Pre-Conference Assembly where the Agenda items for the 2020 General Service Conference will be discussed and feedback will be given to the Area 42 Delegate to carry with her to the conference.

….. PLUS this is all put on by our District – just to say THANK YOU for supporting District 17 There is No charge? No 7th Tradition Basket? No contributions?…. For all that food, fun, entertainment, and fellowship! WOW!

2020 Alcoholics Anonymous International Convention

July 2-5, 2020

Excitement is building for the 2020 A.A. International Convention!! 

Advance registration is now open!!!!  

You may register online by using the links below or print and mail or fax the registration form with full payment to Fax: (508) 743-3605 (credit card only) Mail: 2020 International Convention (check, money order or credit card) c/o Convention Data Services 7 Technology Park Drive Bourne, MA 02532.

If your preferred method of communication is mail, please allow one to two weeks to receive your registration confirmation and housing packet in the mail.   Once registered, your confirmation will be emailed to you, along with a link to the Housing Reservation website.  

Advance registration fees are $115 USD or $150 CAD per person.  After April 15, 2020, the registration fee will be $140 USD or $185 CAD. All attendees who register either via mail or online by May 15, 2020, will receive their badge and purchases in the mail prior to the International Convention.  

Please feel free to make and distribute copies to members in your groups, districts and members at large.
